Webinar for Arrangers Held under Capital Market Support Programme in Armenia
June 13, 2025
On June 13, 2025, the Capital Market Support (CMS) Programme hosted a dedicated webinar for licensed arrangers/underwriters operating within the Armenian capital markets. The session aimed to engage licensed market participants, providing further clarity and discussing essential aspects relevant to arrangers' roles in the CMS Programme.
During the webinar, participants revisited the CMS Programme’s objectives and explored detailed information about the project's benefits for arrangers. Key discussions covered:
- The specific advantages for arrangers participating in the CMS Programme;
- Ensuring fair and transparent competition among licensed arrangers;
- Ways in which arrangers can actively support the Programme;
- Practical guidance on assisting corporates with the registration process.
The CMS Programme, jointly initiated by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Union (EU), continues to support the development of Armenia’s capital markets. The initiative is implemented by Galt & Taggart and Ameria Management Advisory, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.
Arrangers and market participants are encouraged to remain actively engaged with the CMS Programme to foster dynamic capital market growth in Armenia.
The CMS programme operates with an open architecture and is open to any arranger/underwriter licensed by the Central Bank of Armenia. The selection criteria will be applied impartially, without regard to the arranger, considering the applications solely on the merit of the issuer and the proposed instrument.
