- Types of capital market instruments and their role in corporate finance
- Advantages of raising funds in the public market
- Preparation processes for accessing capital markets
- An overview of the regulatory framework governing Armenia’s capital markets
- Eligibility criteria for participation in the CMS Programme
The CMS Programme is a joint initiative of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Union (EU). It aims to strengthen Armenia’s capital markets and expand access to finance for local corporates. The Programme supports businesses by facilitating their participation in debt and equity markets, lowering entry barriers, and enhancing stakeholder capacity through targeted interventions.
The Programme consists of two main components: Educational and Grant Financing. The educational component includes a series of webinars and conferences designed to raise awareness of capital markets, while also offering advisory support throughout the issuance process. The grant financing component offers financial assistance ranging from EUR 25,000 to EUR 75,000 (AMD 11 – 33 million) to successful applicants. Grant funding helps cover expenses related to capital market issuance and is disbursed only upon the successful placement of securities.
The project is implemented by Galt & Taggart and Ameria Management Advisory, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
All potential issuers of capital market instruments are encouraged to apply to the CMS Programme. Registration opens on June 9, 2025. Interested parties can register via the official website of the Programme: cms-armenia.ebrd.com
