Webinar on Corporate Governance Held under Capital Market Support Programme in Armenia

On June 26, 2025, an online webinar was held under the Capital Market Support (CMS) Programme, focusing on the role of Corporate Governance in the development of Armenia’s capital markets. The session was led by Narine Melikyan, Director of the Corporate Governance Centre, and brought together market participants to explore how strong governance practices enhance organizational resilience and attract investor trust.
The webinar addressed the significance of aligning governance practices with capital market standards, especially in the Armenian business landscape. Key topics covered during the session included:
The importance of corporate governance to an organization’s success;
Corporate management challenges in the Armenian context;
Opportunities to align governance structures with capital market expectations.
This webinar forms part of the ongoing CMS Programme, a joint initiative of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Union (EU). The Programme is implemented by Galt & Taggart and Ameria Management Advisory, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.
